Modules for global justice

Below you will find several training resources that will help you understand the world in relation to global inequalities, conflicts, discrimination and violations of rights, but also understand the responses of the civil society from nonviolent perspective. These modules have been developed by SCI Catalunya in collaboration with Escola de Cultura de Pau, l’Etnogràfica, l’Observatori del deute en la Globalització (ODG), Fotomovimiento and GRITIM (UPF).

CULTURE OF PEACE

What is positive and negative peace? What is conflict? What is violence? We analyze concepts and understand why peace action is still important today.

In this module, we will learn how and why this right came into being, what form it has taken since the Second World War, the reasons behind recent developments affecting it and how it has found specific expressions in a range of different historical and political contexts and periods.
