LET’S LIVE EUROPE IN RURAL AREAS IN FRANCE! (6 ESC offers)
Help to develop the cultural openness of young pupils and students from rural areas and participate in their learning of citizenship and tolerance. Stimulate their curiosity on intercultural aspects and encourage them to discover Europe! Become a volunteer in a training centre for teenagers and young people who are not familiar at all with Europe, in the rural area surrounding the city of Le Mans.
This project will involve 6 volunteers from 6 European Union countries. Each one of them will volunteer in one of the 6 local training centres for teenagers from the surroundings of Le Mans, in the department of Sarthe in France.
TECHNICAL COLLEGE IS LOOKING FOR IT’S NEXT EUROPEAN AMBASSADOR (1 ESC offer)
About 440 pupils study at the technical college «Lycée professionnel Joseph Roussel». Located in the city center of Le Mans, we provide courses specialized in Social Care, Healthcare as well as Mass Catering. Our
technical college has always been developing international partnerships and organizing language and cultural exchanges in Spain and the United Kingdom as well as internships in Spain and Greece to develop students’ cultural openness. Our project is to develop students’ European awareness too and help them to open up more and more to the world and others. You’ll be part of this European adventure!
THE HOUSE OF EUROPE IS LOOKING FOR A EUROPEAN AMBASSADOR (1 ESC offer)
The House of Europe Le Mans-Sarthe aims at promoting an active European citizenship and bringing European citizens together to a better understanding. Our work is divided in 4 categories: information, mobility, European education and specific European projects. We are a resource center about European union in our territory and we work alongside many partners to help bringing the EU closer to its citizens. We’re looking for a young European motivated, full of ideas to share about Europe with local inhabitants during a year, and be part of our team!
LEAD INTERCULTURAL ACTIVITIES WITH THE POPULATION OF “SABLÉ-SUR-SARTHE” (1 ESC offer)
The city of Sablé-sur-Sarthe is looking for its future European volunteer in 2021-2022 ! In this city of 12,127 inhabitants, the town and the Associative and Citizen Life service has been welcoming volunteers since 2002. The city is multicultural, with a large number of households with low resources despite the city’s economic dynamism. In this context, the volunteer will be asked to work with neighborhood associations, to organize intercultural events and to participate in the openmindedness of pupils and students by acting directly in schools.
BE PART, TAKE PART TO THE ACTIVITES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF “LE MANS”! (2 ESC offers)
With more than 140,000 inhabitants, the city of Le Mans is the biggest city in the department! Famous throughout the world for its sports competitions, Le Mans also conceals heritage treasures and offers
major cultural events. The city, which has preserved its natural side, is perfectly served by different types of transport. Today, the city of Le Mans apply for the inclusion of the medieval rempart as a UNESCO World
Heritage Site. In this lovely city we are offering two different ESC projects within municipal services: in the child and youth service, and in the event and external relations service.
